NAT & ANDY

Andy, Nat, Carlos and I have been tennis / ski trip / dinner (Andy has the BEST restaurant recs) buddies for a while now, so it was really special being able to photograph their engagements!

We headed up to Mt. Tam from SF hoping to catch a cloud inversion and had a nice 1 hour ride each way to chat. During the drive, Andy and Nat took me through the elaborate scavenger hunt Andy had set up to propose the previous week. The clues and locations all tied in with the story of their relationship--from the beginning sparks at a friend's wedding, to long distance dating across the Pacific, to all the adventures they've gotten up to in California together since. Truly equal parts romantic and entertaining car ride content!! When we finally arrived, there was no cloud inversion to greet us...but in lieu of a sea of clouds we got the most amazing cotton candy sunset, so I'd say it was a great trade.
