DUSOLD FAMILY

My older sister has long been one of my test subjects for my photography, at times willingly and at times through coercion. Before I had any real clients, I had Kelsey. So it feels simultaneously very familiar and also very special to be able to capture big life milestones for her and her family.

This session was right around when their son John turned one, and felt like a good time to get some formal family photos done. We went to McKinney Falls around golden hour in December, and the faint glow of the sun piercing through some light cloud coverage cast this amazing warm hue on the water/rocks that was the perfect backdrop for this session. From there, I pretty much just documented them being together. Glad I got to be there for this, and extra glad we documented John's two-tiny-teeth-only-on-the-bottom phase.
