San Francisco portraits

GOLDEN GATE PARK, SF

CATHERINE

Right when I moved to San Francisco, I was itching to try some more portraiture on film. I honestly didn't really know many people and barely had any friends in the city, but thought this might be a good opportunity to network and get out of my shell a bit. I reached out to Catherine who agreed to model for me, and we met up at Golden Gate Park.

We first dipped into the Conservatory of Flowers which made for some unique shots in the greenhouse (once my lens finally de-fogged, that is), then walked around and shot next to some of the incredible architectural works in the park. It's always a treat to be able to geek out over buildings and take photographs highlighting their forms and textures...might be why to date these are still some of my favorite portraits I've done on film.
