METINEE & MICHAEL

I jumped at the opportunity to photograph Metinee and Michael's civil ceremony when they asked me, not only because I've known Metinee for years from architecture school, but also because I hadn't had the opportunity to shoot at San Francisco City Hall yet.

It was a blustery, overcast day (classic SF summer) but the massive windows still lent the interiors an amazing diffused quality of light! That paired with the sweeping scale of the spaces, Beaux Arts detailing, and Metinee & Michael generally being incredibly photogenic made for some truly timeless and romantic images.
